Non-noveling interests: Larp, Beadweaving, reading (duh), playing the flute, watching anime, frothing obsessively about whatever has caught my interest at the moment.

Synopsis:

There are creatures out there that evolved from reptiles as we evolved from mammals. They took a branch slightly earlier in the evolutionary tree.
They look almost like us and they act almost like us but they are not like us.

In Regency England, one of these creatures is held captive. The venom that it produces is milked by an unscrupulous courtier with designs on the throne. The Prince Regent has been a little fragile recently and several of his closest advisors have been deemed unfit, opium addicts all. With the Terror raging in France the golden age for the English Aristocracy is starting to tarnish.
