Despite our mental agony, which I'm sure is universal to all Wrimos, I'd like to know what physical discomfort is taking its toll on you so far.
I, for one, have a persistent headache. Last night, while I was trick or treating, my boyfriend was wearing a pair of giant elk antlers for wings. We made jokes all night about what a hazard they were... so, naturally, halfway into the night, he suddenly wheels around and smacks me across the head with them. Haha. I have a lump about an inch in diameter. Pair that with obscene amounts of sugar, coffee, and Mountain Dew and I'm not feeling so well. Thank god I'm past my goal for today so I can get to bed early tonight.

Personally, I'm suffering from a constant ache in my back. Instead of a nice, comfy computer chair, I'm stuck sitting on a hard, uncomfortable wooden stool, with no back. This means that my posture is horrible, and without a chair back to support me, my back is suffering horribly. Aside from that, it's not the most comfortable thing to sit on, and I have to switch position every few minutes so I don't lose all the feeling in my butt.
Oh, and... When it comes to the agony of my mind.. I've resorted to keeping a plastic spider in my hair, close to my ear, in the hopes that he'll somehow inspire he. Stupid plastic spiders. Plastic spiders can't talk.

Well, I have been feeling pretty off-colour for an entire week already. This weekend I had a headache that resembled a migrain (thankfully before NaNo started!) and since yesterday I am feeling flu-like symptoms enter my system. I spend my days switching between the computer chair and the couch, because that's all I have energy for at this point in time. The only thing that amuses me is that this story might just be the best I've ever written... feeling sick or not!!

Somehow, my left elbow is bruised from how I've been resting it on the table, as my laptop was pushed really far back from the edge. I'm not sure why. Also not sure why my right elbow has escaped bruising because it was positioned similarly, but I'll take what I can get!

Let me list the ways! Heh!
My lower back has been bothering me for the last week. I have no idea why.
A few days ago, I started showing symptoms of a cold-type thing. I have started feeling a little better, but now I have a sore throat which could also be the product of dry air in my bedroom at night.
My right ankle as a weird burning sensation which started this morning. Again, no idea why.
I think that covers all the current aches and pains I have.

For some reason, the skin has begun to peel off my fingers. It's not noticeable until I try to use hand sanitizer, and then it stings something awful. And my knuckles ache.
Also, I cross my legs while I sit at the computer, which led to some unexpected knee strain yesterday. I didn't even notice until I went to lay down to sleep and my knee wouldn't go straight.

I am sick. I am sooo sick. Please, dear God, let this not be H1N1. It's the night of the 2nd here and I have just over 1,800 words. And I have to teach in the morning. And I cannot breath through my nose. Ugh.

My body chose now of all times to come down with a cold (at least I'm still crossing my fingers that it's a cold, and not the flu). I got sick about a month ago as well, so I was hoping that I'd at least stay healthy during November, but no such luck, apparently :|

I have a rather horrible pain at the back of my neck, on the right side and just as my skull ends. I don't know if I've been sleeping awkwardly in the night, but it's not helping at all D: Especially since it hurts when I turn to face my monitor. Of course, it would make sense to just move the monitor over the other side of the desk, but I can't be bothered to move all of my stuff XD

Thus far I only have pains in my hands and wrists. The pain in the hands is partially from playing too much Xbox last night, so that might fade a little bit, but the wrist pain is only gonna get worse and worse. I have a paper due next week, an online class I have to write for, a math class I take copious notes in and I'm a sign language major, which means my wrists are usually sore even without NaNo. Should be interesting...

Ahh I've been feeling sickish for about a week but it was suddenly horrible on Friday when I woke up without a voice! haha. So, after weird fluctuating temperatures and asthma, I'm stuck with what the end of a normal cold is like. I've had to miss two days of school so far and it's making me nervous.. missing all of this school :( I may miss tomorrow, too...
I hope everyone starts to feel better soon! I know I'm using my self-pity to keep me from working on homework so that I can work on NaNo haha.

Where do I begin? Oh lordy.
----------I was just fine on Halloween in the morning. I was excited for the prospect of NaNo, and I even went with my mom to get some shopping done, knowing I had everything I needed ready--for the most part.
And then WHAM! I get hit with this awful coughing. And then it just got worse. My head started feeling foggy, and I was tired! So, I napped before the start of NaNo, just to try and feel better.
No such luck, of course. I woke up with a headache.
So, that's what it's been yesterday and today. Horrid coughing, foggy head, aching body, stuffy nose, runny nose, nose aching because I've rubbed it so much, chest aching from coughing, and a consistent headache. At least the sore throat is gone. And, I've decided to stuff tissue up my nose to catch all this snot.
Other than that, I've got mother nature to look forward to. She likes to bring horrid cramping, sickness, and general blahness.
My hands are cold, and my lips are chapped. Did I mention I can't breathe through my nose?
Oh. And my cat decided that now is a good time to come and steal my bed, so she's hogging my blankets while I'm just feeling pitiful. D:

Huzzah! Thank you for a good complaint topic.
I usually write in notebooks, but I've been typing my story for the sake of speed and knowing my wordcount. I have to keep resting because, after 10 or so minutes of typing, it feels like someone stuck a hot metal pipe in my arm. It's a really weird (and painful) sensation. It happens when I write by hand, too, but it doesn't develop as quickly. I hope this will get better as I get more used to typing again. I also can't seem to get hydrated. I've been drinking a lot of water, three bottles in the last two hours, and I still feel parched. Plus I have a burn on my butt (long story) which still sort of stings and is making sitting a much more uncomfortable activity than it should be.
I feel slightly better having said that now, though.
As far as mental agony, I just hit a huge writing block. I was writing a lot in October with ease, but not now, when it counts.

I've had a HORRENDOUS headache for over a week now. At 1st I thought it was migranes, but now I'm thinking it might be sinuses. Regardless of what it is, I wake up every morning in pain. I've been taking excedrin which helps w/ the pain a lot... but gives me bad stomach pains & also makes me very tired (which is odd cuz there's a ton of caffeine in that stuff so it should actually make me wired). I just want to wake up 1 day & be pain free & have energy, thats all...

I have hyperextension in both of my wrists, which means that my tendons are too long and if I am constantly moving my fingers, they end up getting pinched between bones and muscles and hurting. I want to chop off my hands right now, but I have yet to learn how to type with my feet.

----------So I' ve been sick since halloween, which I spent throwing up, & wasn't able to sleep because I woke up every hour choking on phlegm... I'm also chronically ill with renal failure, which requires 3 times a week dialysis at 6AM.

Half my face is raw, I'm nauseous, the one time I barfed today, it was my pills that are meant to help... and they dont taste better the second time, I can hardly breath, My head is all gunky, I can't think properly, I'm exhausted yet cant sleep, and my throat still hurts.
