I am a member of Mystery Writers of America, and serve as Treasurer on the Florida chapter board. I am co-chairing SleuthFest, our annual writer's conference, in 2012 (Jeffery Deaver and Charlaine Harris are Guests of Honor, Chris Grabenstein is our Thursday Spotlight Speaker; March 1-4, 2012). We'll be at the Royal Plaza Hotel in the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, FL. Working on a mystery series set in Florida, I have been using NaNo to write the first draft of novels in the series.
