Author bio:
I'm a writer, paranormal investigator, and retail manager from Lincoln, Nebraska. I am the President of the Nebraska Writers Guild, and an active member of the Nebraska Writers Workshop. I write speculative fiction (sci-fi/fantasy/horror) and dark gritty realism. I am also a screenwriter, and am an alumni of Lew Hunter's screenwriting colony.
- Role:
- Municipal Liaison
- Location:
- Lincoln, Nebraska
- Hobbies:
- When I'm not working or writing, I am a ghosthunter. I also spoil the grandbabies, and the dogs. I'm a former gymnast, who likes to cook, preferably Persian food.
- Favorite noveling music:
- I end up with a different soundtrack for each novel. They range from classical, to heavy metal, and everything in between. Music truly can set the mood for me to get into character, or set the tone for a scene. I often find that movie soundtracks work well. Sometimes I find myself singing along, and not concentrating on what I'm writing if the music has words. Sometimes not.
