I'm a Californian living in England with my English husband and our 7 kids, a dog, a cat and an assassin gerbil.

I blog about my weight loss (145+ pounds lost), my photography, my family, my writing, fairies and princesses and more.

I own and run several on-line stores where I sell my husband's and my designs as well as other people's designs on t-shirts, mugs, magnets and many other gifts.

I have a BA in English, and have wanted to be a writer ever since I was a child. But, while I have written several stories for small children, I've never finished any of my novels. NaNoWriMo helps me get past my procrastination problem and JUST WRITE!

I joined NaNoWriMo for the first time in 2009 and, to my surprise, I surpassed the 50,000 word target! I managed over 53,000 words in NaNoWriMo 2010. In NaNoWriMo 2011, I wrote over 75,000 words. Now I get to find out if I can do it again!
