Novels...
07: The Successor, YA/historical fiction. In 309 BC, 13 year old Alexander, son of Alexander the Great, escapes his assassins and searches for his rumored half-brother across the Aegean sea. With his only friend, the Persian slave girl Pyrrha, he encounters pirates, slave-ships in glittering Egypt, and the hostile generals of his father - can the Macedonian prince rescue his brother, his throne, and his own skin?
'08: Halla Wolf-friend's Saga, YA/historical fiction. Halla Halldorsdottir finds a wolf-pup in a snare at her father's farm in northern Norway, but her pet turns only companion when a Viking raid razes her home. The wilderness is harsh, but civilization is harsher still: she befriends an Irish thrall, Nial, but can a girl, a wolf, and a slave really make it to Iceland?
'09: Garlic Breath, YA. Julie loves garlic: it's all that's keeping her from a vampiric rampage. She learns this too late, and after destroying her middle school, transfers to a haven for kids with 'gothic disorders' -- like her best friend Kate's lycanthropy, which turns her into a wolf, or new friend Peter's gargoyle stone skin. Her thirst for blood is covered up, and the 'normals' are none the wiser, but is secrecy really the best medicine?
'10: Book II of Halla Wolf-friend's Saga. More about Halla in the north! No spoilers, so ... you'll have to wait until Book I is a little more polished!
'11: Undying. No stranger to death, Rosemund is an accomplished tourney knight, and fights on the Undying Fields for the king’s sport, where the dead rise in the dawn after a battle. She and her teammates think nothing of killing the king’s own son in a tourney held for the prince’s birthday; when he fails to rouse with the others, foul play implicates Rosemund’s team and they are threatened with a true execution unless they can prove their innocence and rescue the remaining heir.
'12: The Last Prince. See novel info!
