In September of 2006 my daughter challenged me to stop talking about writing a science fiction novel but to sign up for National Novel Writing Month and actually write on. I did and started writing my Legacy Rising series completing 75,000 words on Legacy’s Gift.

I followed this with Legacy’s Dawn (2007), Legacy’s Longing (2008) and Legacy’s Challenge (2009). Last year I took a break and wrote The Unclocked Door (2010), which although in the same “universe” and my Legacy Rising series is not directly related to the others; and The Legacy Conflict (2011). This year I will continue the series with Legacy's Conquest.

I’d like to publish, but none of my works are fully edited yet where I would be willing to market them.

I have three adult children and two grandchildren (with two more on the way) and look forward to passing on a literary legacy born from these annual “thirty days and nights of literary abandon.”
