Amazingly thirty days have passed rather quickly. As a group we did rather well this year. We passed the one miliion word mrak finally and of those I can see we have more winner banners than last year, there may be more that I did not see so I couldn't add as writing buddys to keep track of you. To all who wrote a word this year, thanks for participating and I hope you had a great time doing it. Even in frustration and panic, things can be fun if you feel like you grew in the process. For those that made the 50k watch for the winner goodies over the next few days and I hope you have a great Christmas this year.

Turkey day is over, the leftovers are safely in the 'fridge and all the friends and family have safely returned home. so I'm back to writing and working to hit the magic 50,000

Starting to slow down? Add a side event. For my story I added that the MC's went on a dinner cruise on a riverboat. Discribing the boat, the food, and how they interact during the trip, including sights along the shore line and how the lights of the city dance along the waves plus a shadowy figure lurking among the passengers on the boat has been good for 7,322 words so far and they haven't retired for the evening yet, (it's an overnight cruise).

So start a train ride, a trip on a bus to avoid detection, floating down a river on a raft where the face dangers from nature and their own feelings towards each other. Have a bad guy blackmail them into performing an illegal act. The possibilities are endless.
