In 2007 we debuted an online way for you to have your November novel-writing marathon sponsored by friends and family through Firstgiving.com. All proceeds from sponsorships went to NaNoWriMo's parent nonprofit, the Office of Letters and Light, and helped pay for this year's Young Writers Program and adult main program.
Sponsorship is a great way to have a huge impact on National Novel Writing Month, and receive donor thank-you gifts at a level you might not be able to reach as an individual supporter. We are working on implementing a sponsorship program for the 2008 NaNoWriMo, so be sure to check back for more info!
