Synopsis: Abandoned Cemetery
A medical corporation bent on providing 'eternal life' for the elite, especially themselves, has taken over a city and turned it into a gated community. Wouldn't you pay anything to be immortal? Many people have, buying their way into Eternal City, and It was working, but how was this possible? And then some people started disappearing and nobody was talking. In this sequel to my 2007 NaNoWriMo novel, 'Eternal City' has just been 'raided' by the FBI, the corporate executives put in jail, but it's not over. The authorities have the secret list of those that were targeted for 'termination' but where are all of the missing bodies? Not where you might think. But then again, this is not new news. In the 1930's Dr. Alexis Carrel and Charles Lindbergh made breakthrough discoveries in tissue generation and whole organ perfusion. Almost 80 years later, do you think the elite brains of the high council of experts really let that idea drop? While the outside world is regulated and plodding along in their medical technology, Eternal city has a dark, hidden secret that even the majority of citizens and employees don't know about. In a desperate attempt to protect their secret, the council has regained control of the city and escorted the 'intruders' off site. In 'Eternal City,' Caro began uncovering their hidden agenda and now, many years after she began her quest, Caro finds her missing father and the answer to the question, where did all the bodies go?
