The commotion that followed sped by in big blur. He never in a million years believed she would be stupid enough run. He thought she would come peacefully.
Extremely angry, but peaceful nonetheless.
That way he would be able to protect her. Now, once again, she had put herself into more danger than she could possibly imagine. What was it with this female? No wonder he had fallen in love with her.
The strength of her spirit radiated within her so powerful it consumed everything and everyone around her. Especially him.
Even after swearing he would never get involved with another woman, she managed to steal his heart straight from the iron vault he’d imprisoned his emotions in years ago.
