Favorite music: This year I'm trying bop jazz (Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie) and garage/"proto-punk" (The Stooges, the Nuggets Compilations) for writing. There will also be a lot of gypsy and Balkan music, as well as probably Mississippi hill country blues, and my main guys - Hank Williams and Tom Waits. Also, I've been getting into this band called Led Zeppelin.
