Brief Author Bio:

I'm a typical artist, no not quite starving yet, but eccentric is a good place to start. Irrivokably insane? Check. Obsessive Compulsive? Only when it comes to eating Oreo cookies. Living in three or more worlds, and possibly a dimention or two? Definitly.

I would love to own a solar powered laptop so that I could sit in the middle of no where writing and never have to worry about where to plug in the bleeding adapter.

I'm a travel-a-holic which inspires me in oh-so many ways. It also allows me a more open mind when it comes to other cultures and people, and helps me develop more divers characters. I'm in the middle of a scandinavian obsession at the moment which I hope doesn't end any time soon. As well as a New Zealand obsession, but I blame Peter Jackson, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Bridge to Terabithia, and The Whale Rider for that one!

I can swear in eleven different languages. Elvish and Klingon included.

I am a geek, and damn proud of it skippy! You got an issue with that, don't bring it to me, because I may be open minded, but not when it comes to ignoance.

I like to think I know everything, when in fact I just know a bit about everything.

I own a pair of rose coloured glasses, for obvious reasons.

On the cover of my laptop in big black letters are the words: DON'T PANIC

I also carry a towel and black sunglasses in my pusre for this reason.

I know that when Thor gets mad, he has a habit of turning rude airline CSR's in to Coca Cola vending machines.

If you don't get the previous three statements, please go to your nearest library or bookstore and pick up Douglas Adams' Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul. You won't regret it.

I love random facts.

Ie. the longest word in the world is Finnish in origin and is commonly used. (Don't ask me how to say it, I'm still trying to get my tongue around the basics: Mita Kuuluu sina vittuu?)

Synopsis: Syntypera: Just One Drop

Suuvi was having one of those days.
She's lost one of her new shoes, her legs are all scraped up and she can't remember why, she's woken up in a dark room with no door, and she's just found out that she to become a new toy for the local king.
All because she went out for orange juice.
...well maybe not just because she went out for juice, but that's what lead to the begining of a no good, very bad, horrible, non-sensical, gum-in-the-hair kind of terrible day.

Excerpt: Syntypera: Just One Drop

It was cold and it was dark. So dark in fact that Suuvi poked herself in the eye just to make sure her eyes were in fact open. Her legs hurt to the high heavens and all she wanted was a bottle of Tylonal and a glass of water, add a blanket to the list and she'd ignore the fact that she was lying on a concrete floor in a room with no light that was very definitely not where she lived. Yes, today was shaping up to be an all around bad day.
Slowly, and painfully she shuffled herself up into a position that would have been similar to that of Cleopatra, provided she had a couch, and a few cabana boys to fan her with giant leafs and feed her fresh dates. As none of that was available, she looked like she was half stretched out across the floor and slouched against the nearest of the blackened walls.
Blackened was a good description of the colour; it was black, gone blacker, possibly painted black eight times over, and then chared to a deeper black. Blackened.
